Born of of open-field combat from the period when Siam (now Thailand)
was routinely attacked by the armies of Burma (now Myanmar), Krabi
Krabong is a traditional weapon art still widely practiced in Thailand.
Although it is better known as historical performance to most Thais,
it's effectiveness and overall intensity are unmatched. Resembling
somewhat the movements of the more familiar Muay Thai ring sport,
Krabi Krabong uniquely combines aggressive power and speed with
the application of double sword (daab song meu), as well
as other weapons.
